The tour is over! And as far as I am concerned it was our best so far. This band really kicks ass! And the fact that we recorded the new album with the same band is probably one of the causes for this... Check our Facebook-Page at www.facebook.com/jpbofficial for pictures, videos etc.

I was in charge of social media and I took my job pretty serious. Not only do we have a lot of photos on facebook - we also have some video clips from a few concerts!

Here’s what I did: collect all band member’s phones (all capable of shooting video in 720p), Joseph’s flip cam and the nikon D90 I used for taking pictures, randomly position them on stage and at the mixing desk, and GO! A day later (in the van - good excuse for not having to take the wheel...) I would edit the footage for one song in imovie and mix the sound with different audio sources from the cameras in logic. Then wait for a fast enough internet connection to upload it on facebook...

The results are far from professional, but they have their charme. It’s loud, it’s rough - it’s ROCK’N ROLL!!! Here is one for you to decide...

In june I will play with Mr. Wolf Codera and his Session Possible Circus all over NRW, check the dates.

I also have a gig I’m really looking forward to: it’s with my old friend Katrin and her band Katrins Gitarre. We used to play together in a band called No Rights Reserved more than 10 years ago - actually the first band where they would let me play the bass... And the gig itself is pretty special, too: it’s the FIFA women’s world cup opening party! Sounds like a lot of fun...
